Connect Datadog to give Cendriix agents visibility into your metrics, monitors, and incidents.

Overview

How to connect

1. Navigate to Settings → Integrations → Connectors
2. Click Connect on the Datadog integration
3. Enter your Datadog API Key and Application Key
4. Cendriix validates the credentials
5. Datadog metrics, monitors, and incidents become available to agents and ingestible into Cortex

Getting your credentials

1. Go to Datadog → Organization Settings → API Keys 
2. Create a new API Key for Cendriix
3. Go to Application Keys  and create a new Application Key
4. Copy both keys into the Cendriix setup wizard

Capabilities

Once connected, Cendriix agents can:

• Query metrics for deploy validation and health checks
• Search logs and read APM traces
• Access monitor definitions and status
• Ingest incident data into Cortex for root-cause analysis
• Reference observability data when planning remediation

Security notes

• Always use read-only Application keys when possible
• API keys and Application keys are long-lived — store them securely and rotate periodically
• Credentials are stored encrypted in AWS Secrets Manager
• Disconnect at any time from Settings → Integrations → Connectors
