New Relic
Connect New Relic to surface APM, logs, and infrastructure metrics in Cortex for observability insights.

How to connect
- Navigate to Settings → Integrations → Connectors
- Click Connect on the New Relic integration
- Enter your New Relic User API key
- Once configured, observability data becomes available to Cendriix agents
Getting your API key
- Go to New Relic → API Keys
- Click Create a key
- Select User as the key type
- Give it a descriptive name (e.g., “Cendriix Integration”)
- Copy the key and paste it in the Cendriix setup wizard
Capabilities
Once connected, Cendriix agents can:
- Query APM data (response times, error rates, throughput)
- Access log entries via NerdGraph (New Relic’s GraphQL API)
- Read infrastructure and host metrics
- Reference observability data when debugging or optimizing performance
Security notes
- New Relic User keys grant read access to all account data associated with the key
- For narrower access, create a key with a restricted role
- API keys are stored encrypted in AWS Secrets Manager
- Disconnect at any time from Settings → Integrations → Connectors
