Notion
Connect Notion to ingest your workspace pages and databases into Cortex for AI-powered context.
Overview
| Auth method | OAuth 2.0 (Notion Integration) |
| Scopes | Capability-based (Read, Update, Insert content) |
| Setup time | ~5 minutes |
How to connect
- Navigate to Settings → Integrations → Connectors
- Click Connect on the Notion integration
- Complete the OAuth consent flow — you’ll be asked to grant access to specific pages and databases
- Once authorized, selected pages are ingested into Cortex
Capabilities
Once connected, Cendriix agents can:
- Read pages and databases you’ve granted access to
- Ingest documentation into Cortex as knowledge atoms
- Reference Notion content when answering questions or generating code
How permissions work
Notion uses a unique capability-based model rather than traditional OAuth scopes. During the connection flow, you explicitly select which pages and databases to share with Cendriix. This is least-privilege by design — only the content you choose is accessible.
Security notes
- Notion tokens never expire — there is no refresh token mechanism
- Revocation is done through the Notion settings UI (disconnect the integration)
- Only pages you explicitly grant access to are visible — least-privilege by design
